Megan Bredlow with works from the Koralli Collection
Sculptural lighting and functional art pieces
Megan Bredlow stands among works from her Koralli Collection — a sculptural dialogue between material, form, and light. The ensemble includes the Koralli Flower Sconce, Koralli Pearl of Gold chandelier, Koralli Bi-Layer Sculptural Mirror, Koralli Wall Sculpture, and Koralli Candelabra — each hand-crafted from a fusion of recycled materials, reclaimed walnut off-cuts, and hand-sculpted plaster or clay.
Every piece in the collection is a meditation on contrast and renewal. The chandelier and candelabra are built entirely from hand-formed plaster and clay over lightweight, recycled armatures — their surfaces shaped, sanded, and refined to evoke coral’s mineral softness. In contrast, the mirror, flower sconce and wall sculpture also incorporate hand-laminated walnut off-cuts-shaped and carved into flowing forms, celebrating the tactile warmth and variation of repurposed wood.
Together these works form a living architecture of dualities: rigid and fluid, matte and luminous, organic and deliberate. They appear to grow naturally from one another — coral-like forms frozen mid-bloom. Through a process that values reuse and reinvention, Bredlow redefines material luxury as an expression of sustainability and care, transforming interior objects into living sculptures that unite function, fragility, and renewal.
